I just saw the "Marvel Entertainment" logo at the end of Mutant X (I'm a fan of this as well)

yeah, it's kinda weird, see marvel isn't the one doing the suing in this case, it's Fox, because they say the show is too similar to the movie...

ah, but Fox thought they had *exclusive* rights to use the property in a live action project. Since Marvel let whoever it is that makes Mutant X use the same concept, just altered a bit, Fox sued Marvel. of course this all let to us, the general public in on a few possaible secrets in the sequil, like the fact that William Stryker is most likely the villain, and that Nighty may be the newest X-Man, because they were spilled in court documents

Yeah, it does seem odd, but law is not my thing. I got creamed in debate sometimes because I do not understand laws, or copyrights, or anything.
